In this assignment, I decided to focus on Architecture. We were driving around Ann Arbor and I decided to take pictures of a farm and the Colonnade. I learned that it is kind of hard to take pictures of architecture in an area with not much architecture. Exposure Triangle:
For editing this picture, I turned the saturation down all the way.

In this assignment, we took pictures and put them together to make panoramic photos. We had to take pictures and then "stitch" the together in photoshop. I learned that taking pictures and stitching them together can be harder than you think. Your tripod has to be super still and cant move at all, if it does it messes up the whole picture. The same thing goes for the camera, if you accidentally tilt it up and down a little it messes up the whole picture. For this weeks photography assignment, I decided to focus on macro. I learned that you can see more then you think when you get close to something. I also struggled because the closer I got to anything the harder it was to focus the camera. Exposure Triangle:
This picture is straight out of the camera and I did not edit it in Lightroom at all. In this assignment, I decided to focus on Nature. I took pictures in my backyard about the time the sun was setting (it was kinda cloudy). I learned that there are so many different things you can capture, so it was hard picking just 10. Exposure Triangle: f4.0- 1/40
For editing, I turned the saturation up by 10. For this assignment, we took a former students photo in photoshop and took out some of the distracting factors that made you not focus on the car. Working in photoshop can be very difficult but we are learning more about how to use each tool and how to take out people and light that distract the people viewing the picture.
In this assignment, I took pictures of my friend and different things at the powderpuff football game. It was an interesting experience because I tried to take pictures only if i could see them in black and white. I wish I hadn't done that because I feel like I could have gotten some more interesting pictures. Exposure Triangle: For editing in this photo, I turned the saturation all the way down in Lightroom to -100. In this assignment, we used all sorts of different settings on Photoshop to create popart. We can either use a picture of ourselves or a picture of someone else. I decided to use a picture of my friend, Emily. I learned how to put filters on images, how to use guides, how to resize the canvas, how to adjust the threshold dialog, and how to move layers.
In this assignment, I focused on people. I took pictures of my friend Emily at the lake across the street from my house. I took many pictures expressing Emily's emotions and I loved it. I learned that there are many different ways you can take pictures of people and how to make them fill the frame and express different things in the photos. This picture is straight out of the camera and I did not edit it in Lightroom at all.
